Leigh has over 10 years of nursing experience. She began her career in the transplant unit at the Royal Infirmary before moving into the private sector, where she developed both her clinical expertise and people management skills as a Deputy Manager, playing a key role in commissioning a brand-new care home. She later completed a Postgraduate Diploma in Person-Centred Practice, focusing on advancing practice through clinical assessment and prescribing, as part of the NHS Specialist Practitioner District Nurse course.
Although she valued her time in the NHS, Leigh missed the world of Care Home Management and was delighted to return to the sector as a Home Manager. Two years on, she is especially excited to now be part of commissioning another new home with the Glencorse team.
Passionate about people, Leigh is dedicated to ensuring residents receive exceptional, person-centred care. She places great importance on fostering a supportive and motivating environment for staff, encouraging their growth and development, while also recognising the vital role families play in creating a warm and inclusive home community.

Carolyn Miller is our Deputy Manager. Carolyn qualified as a nurse in 2012 and has always been passionate about caring for the elderly. She is thrilled to be part of Glencorse Care Home, where she looks forward to building a strong, supportive team and delivering gold-standard care to residents. Carolyn brings with her extensive experience in elderly care and care home management.

Care homes are in Mark’s DNA. His grandmother opened her own care home many years ago, so Mark truly understands what life in a care home is all about. Over the years, he’s been deeply involved in the administrative and financial side of care home life and is known as our go-to guru for all things finance. Mark is thrilled to be part of the Glencorse team and can’t wait to welcome new residents into our wonderful community.

Siobhan joins us with a wealth of knowledge and experience. She is qualified to SVQ Levels 2 and 3 in Health and Social Care and is excited to be part of Glencorse Care Home, where she is committed to delivering the highest standard of care for our residents.

She’s the first to admit that her true passion has always been caring for older people — it’s where she feels most at home. Throughout her career, Karen has dedicated herself to supporting residents in care homes, building strong relationships, and ensuring every individual receives the dignity, respect, and comfort they deserve. We’re delighted to have her as part of the Glencorse team, where her experience and genuine love for elderly care truly shine.

Joanna is our Head Housekeeper, bringing with her valuable experience from working in care homes and a wonderfully positive, can-do attitude. She takes great pride in creating a warm, clean, and welcoming environment for everyone at Glencorse. Outside of her housekeeping expertise, Joanna has a hidden talent for floristry, and she’s excited to share her skills through activities with residents—bringing colour, creativity, and a touch of her insider knowledge to our home.

Sunny is one of our nurses, bringing broad experience and a genuine passion for caring for older adults. Her journey began in a hands-on care role, giving her strong foundations in understanding residents’ needs and delivering compassionate, person-centred support. Sunny places resident wellbeing at the heart of everything she does, and her calm, attentive approach makes a real difference in daily life at Glencorse. We are delighted to have her on board as part of Team Glencorse.
